Life Group Leaders

This is a group of church members who volunteer to lead a "Life" or "Growth" group.  To be a candidate for becoming a group Leader or to start a new group, the candidate must first meet with the Pastors and complete a leadership training class. The role of a group Leader is very similar to that of a Deacon in Scripture
(see Acts 6:1-7; 1 Tim. 3:8-12).

Difference between a "Life" and a "Growth":
Life = focus is on fellowship and doing life together.
Growth = focus is on reaching a goal together.

Therefore the Elders and Pastors are diligent to make sure those interested in becoming a leader or starting a Life or Growth group are spiritually mature and equipped for the responsibility.
