God’s Kingdom advances through disciplined, faith-filled prayer that aligns with His will. God’s Kingdom is His rule in the hearts of believers, and that rule requires spiritual discipline—especially in prayer. In Luke 11, Jesus taught persistence through the parable of the man who kept knocking until his request was answered. This story doesn’t suggest God is reluctant, but reveals how eager the Father is to help us. As we learn what to pray for through the Lord’s Prayer, we can ask with confidence, knowing He will answer according to His will (1 John 5:14–15).
